Dear customers, you may understand that sometimes we can't be nearly as impressed with an inheritance as you might be. This is not an attempt to "beat the price" for my benefit or a collection "to speak badly". First of all, I'm trying to find a realistic approach and way to assess and "evaluate" a collection sensibly. I have to get at least an idea of ​​what to expect, a few first pictures via WhatsApp or email are usually enough for an initial assessment. In this case, there is neither a list nor a few photos for a first overview, nothing that we (or the customer himself) could use as a guide.

We buy cameras many hundreds of times a year, too whole collections, that's our job. And we're happy to help with the appraisal and evaluation and the sale, but we won't go through the trouble that is just "just too much trouble" for the customer himself. We don't look through collections "on suspicion", we don't jump into the car excitedly and rush to every customer because he'll find a basement full of cameras, and we don't duel with other dealers over individual pieces.

We know and recognize the values, offer our professional expertise for this and expect exclusivity in a partnership, trusting cooperation and processing.

We also don't understand why any junk dealers or household liquidators are called photo dealers here . The latter would never travel hundreds of kilometers "on suspicion" and only then realize that the bundle might have been disposed of better than storing it longer. Such a trader would not be very careful with his own resources and would have to be very desperate in his job. In fact, there are relatively few camera treasures in estates. And real assets rarely go unnoticed, even by the heirs. And if, after half a year, none of the dealers who have come have recognized the "true value" of this collection, it is probably not a good alternative to always look for other "dealers" instead of a "supposed" value help the "household liquidation" and still pay for it.
